Sale & Ticketing Policy

FAST PRODUCTIONS (ABN 28 644 153 790) (“FAST”) provides ticketing and marketing services for concerts, events, and productions through www.fastevents.com.au. By purchasing a ticket from FAST, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms apply to both the original purchaser and any subsequent ticket holders (“you”).

1. Variation to Terms & Conditions

FAST may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will only apply to ticket purchases made after the updated version is published on our website.

2. Merchant of Record (MoR)

For each event, FAST will specify at the point of sale whether FAST or the Event Producer is the Merchant of Record:

  • FAST as MoR

    • Ticket payments are processed through FAST’s merchant facility.

    • FAST is responsible for processing transactions, issuing tickets, and managing refunds in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and these Terms.

    • Settlement of funds to the Event Producer will occur as per the agreed settlement terms (e.g., 90% monthly until the event date, final settlement 7 days after the event).

    • FAST will handle chargebacks, payment disputes, and refund requests directly with the ticket purchaser.

  • Producer as MoR

    • Ticket payments are processed directly into the Producer’s nominated merchant facility.

    • The Producer is solely responsible for processing transactions, issuing refunds, and complying with Australian Consumer Law.

    • FAST acts only as a ticketing/marketing agent and is not the seller of tickets for these events.

    • Any refund, cancellation, or event change requests must be directed to the Producer.

3. Events Managed by FAST Productions

For events managed or produced directly by FAST Productions:

  • All ticket sales, refunds, and customer service will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and the policies outlined herein.

  • Event details, including dates, times, venues, and line-ups, are subject to change. Refunds will only be provided in cases where the law requires.

4. Events Not Managed by FAST Productions (FAST as Ticketing & Marketing Partner Only)

This section applies to events where FAST acts solely as the ticketing and marketing partner:

  • Refunds are processed within 14–21 business days after the event organiser confirms the cancellation.

If your event is postponed or rescheduled:

  • Your ticket will automatically be valid for the new date.

  • If the organiser offers refunds for those unable to attend, we’ll email you with instructions and deadlines.

  • If no refund is offered, the ticket remains valid for the new date and no refund will be issued.

Non-refundable fees:

  • Booking, transaction, and delivery fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
